Before nuclear energy, solar energy, chemical energy, wind energy, water energy and other energy sources are converted into electric energy, the first power generation method used in my country is still the use of thermal power to generate electricity. At present, some areas still use thermal power to generate electricity.
But this needs to consume more energy, and most of these energy sources are non-renewable, the cost is very high, and more importantly, it will cause a certain amount of pollution to the environment. Therefore, if this method is used for a long time, it will cause many irreversible consequences. After various considerations, the country is also actively seeking other methods to replace thermal power generation.
And wind power is one of them. Most of the wind power is in contact with the natural wind. This energy will not produce any pollution, and it is producing energy all the time, with almost zero harm. Since wind power has been recognized by the state, it has been put into use on a large scale, especially in some areas with mountains and hills, where setting up some wind power stations will greatly improve the ability to generate electricity. From the data in 2020, it can be seen that the wind power generation has reached more than 410 billion kWh.
Of course, some areas have sufficient water resources, and some use hydropower to generate electricity. Just like the famous project in my country, the Three Gorges Dam, which uses hydropower. Although some residents may need to be relocated to other places because of this, the benefits brought by the construction of this power station to the whole of China are immeasurable. Therefore, even at the expense of the interests of a small number of people, it can provide more power.
